In Pixel Gun 3D's Tournament mode, players take part in ranked matches and compete against each other to become the best of the best.
Mode selection and scoring
The Tournament features a choice of game modes: Deathmatch, Team Strike, and Flag Capture. There is also a Random Mode option, which randomizes players into any of the three game modes. If a player chooses a mode on their own, regardless of the outcome of the match, they receive fewer points compared to when the mode is randomly selected.
Each tournament match takes place on a randomly selected map from the available list. This promotes variety in gameplay and requires players to be able to adapt quickly to different environments.
Tournament Leaderboard
The Leaderboard includes the Top 100 players. Depending on the place – from Top 100 to Top 3 – that a player occupies in the ranking, he can receive various rewards.
Trophies (points) earned only in tournament matches go to the Leaderboard. This emphasizes the importance of participating in tournaments rather than regular matches to increase your ranking.
Personal Progress and Rewards
Tournament mode also allows users to track their personal progress. Players receive rewards for trophies earned. The ranking system includes 10 levels, the maximum of which requires 10,000 trophies. For achieving 12,000 or more trophies, players receive a unique prize – a Golden Skins Chest.
Season change
When the season changes, players will be placed on the new Leaderboard. If a player's rank is 4 or lower, it will remain the same. However, all progress above rank 4 will be reduced to 10% of the current value. This rule keeps the game competitive and gives new players a chance to prove themselves in the new season.
Why do I lose trophies?
Trophies are lost after leaving matches multiple times before they end. This will hinder your progress in the trophy tournament.
